OperationAid is currently looking for volunteers to join us on the ground. If you are a hands-on,
proactive person that want to be a part of a small team transporting humanitarian aid in Ukraine to communities who are in great need - we encourage you to get in touch!
We currently have a lot of applicants in the pipeline so please expect a delay from us getting back on your submission. It might also take some time for us to schedule you for a mission even if you pass through the screening. We thank you for your patience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Drivers license and comfortable driving longer distances (both manual and automatic)
- Age: >20 years old.
- Language skills: English and/or Swedish is mandatory, Russian and Ukrainian is qualifying but not required.
- Team player constructively coordinating with peers, hands-on, proactive, respond quickly to changing circumstances and
ability to assume responsibility.
TERMS – DURATION AND RENUMERATION
- Minimum of 14 days including travels. Desired starting date: asap.
- No remuneration is provided and the volunteer have to cover your own transport to and from Lviv and food during the trip.
- Accommodation: OperationAid can offer accommodation in shared room in Lviv where we are based.
- Responsibilities: e.g providing assessments and action of ongoing and new needs, handle communication and
documentation, on and off load supplies (logistics) and transport supplies.
We would like to emphasize that OperationAid operates in Ukraine on the ground where necessary and possible,
and joining as volunteer, you should be prepared for long working hours under constrained conditions in complex and
potentially dangerous areas of disaster and conflict.
